In July 1969 Apollo 11 landed on the moon and man walked on its surface for the very first time.  Neil Armstrong’s famously said:

“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”

Two years later Apollo 15 landed on the moon with Astronaut James Irwin.  He, less famously but more profoundly, said:

“The miracle is not that man has walked on the moon,  but that God has walked on the earth”
