The first day of a new dawn

Easter Sunday changes everything.

Death defeated.

The first sight that the older order is passing away.

The first glimpse that a new day has dawned.

Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

As I awake this morning the Holy Spirit leaping within me stirs a certain hope.

Ephesians 1:14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

One day I will stand in his presence

One day I will be like him – complete, whole, perfect, healed

One day I will be everything I was made to be

One day I will be lost in the beauty, the wonder, the magnificence of it all

But until that day, I can only imagine ….
