This morning I am speaking on the Father-heart of God as part of our key series “Lord teach us to pray.” We learn firstly and foremost about fatherhood from our own fathers. This clouds our vision and can prevent us seeing the truth about our true Father.
Here is a meditation of over 50 bible passages that help us see who the true Father is and what he is like. My suggestion is that you take some time every day this week to reflect on these verses allowing them to change and mould your view of our true Father. By your “view” I don’t simply mean what your head says is true about God as Father, but it’s what your heart knows and feels.
Discovering the true Father is the key to praying like Jesus.
