I am so excited that, as part of our Easter celebration, I am able to share Dr Billy Graham’s final message to the UK. It’s a message that has changed millions of lives. Its truth has changed my life too. May I encourage you to gather friends and family for this unique occasion.
I remember as a teenager being at Ashton Gate (Bristol) for Mission England. Dr Graham preached on the Prodigal Son. His words were not especially clever, or new, but I remember recognising that they carried an extraordinary anointing. Hundreds went forward to give their lives to Jesus that night. I have reflected a lot on that since. Where did that anointing come from? It almost certainly came from his deep personal faith and encounter with Jesus, but more I believe that the preparation and prayer that marked every mission was so key to the phenomenal impact his preaching has had around the world.
As I watched this final message for the first time, I knew immediately that it carried the same anointing. That’s why I am so excited about sharing it on Easter Sunday.

Evangelist Billy Graham has preached about the cross to millions of people around the world—and now he brings the timeless message of hope in Jesus Christ to the UK once more:
“With all my heart I want to leave you with the truth that He loves you and wants to forgive you of your sins.”
Only God could know the important role Billy Graham would play in world evangelism. From the humble beginnings on a dairy farm to his decision for Christ at a local revival on the edge of Charlotte, North Carolina, to his travels around the world speaking in stadiums filled to capacity, Billy Graham has pursued a singular vision—to share the love of Jesus Christ with all who would listen.
In doing so he has met with presidents, kings, queens, celebrities, and everyday men, women, and children. No matter his audience, the message is still the same.
“Everywhere I go I find that people … both leaders and individuals … are asking one basic question: ‘Is there any hope for the future?’ My answer is the same, ‘Yes, through Jesus Christ.’ I have had the privilege of preaching the Gospel on every continent … And I have found that when I present the simple message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with authority, quoting from the very Word of God—He takes that message and drives it supernaturally into the human heart.”
